Ingredients
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce egg white
- 3-4 drops of Angostura bitters
- Orange wheel and cherry (garnish)
Direction
- Add bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white to the cocktail shaker.
- Dry shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
- Remove the shaker lid, add ice and shake again for approximately 10-15 more seconds.
- Double-strain (using both the Hawthorne and fine-mesh strainer) the shaker contents into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 3 or 4 drops of Angostura bitters.
- Add an orange wheel and cheery to a cocktail pick for final garnish.
