Tangerine Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur (triple sec or orange curaçao)
  • 1/2 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce of freshly squeezed tangerine juice
  • Coarse salt, for the rim (optional)

Direction

  1. Add ice to a cocktail glass and allow to chill.
  2. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and combine all ingredients. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  3. If desired, rim the cocktail glass with salt. Pour the shaker contents into the glass using the Hawthorne strainer.

Garnish

  • Lime wedge and tangerine slice
