Ingredients

  • 1 ounce aged rum
  • 1 ounce blanco tequila
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • 1/2 ounce egg white

Direction

  1. Combine all ingredients in the cocktail shaker.
  2. Dry shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds without ice.
  3. Add ice and shake again for an additional 10-15 seconds.
  4. Double-strain (using both the Hawthorne and fine-mesh strainer) the shaker contents over the cocktail glass.
