Passionfruit Martini

Ingredients

  • 3 passion fruit
  • 1 3/4 ounces clear apple juice
  • 1 3/4 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce passion fruit liqueur (ex. Passoa)
  • 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 tbsp Monin passion fruit syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp simple syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp egg white (optional)

Direction

  1. Fill martini glass with ice.
  2. Cut each passion fruit in half.
  3. Use the bar spoon to scoop the inside of each passionfruit into the fine mesh strainer. Apply pressure to the passionfruit in a fine mesh strainer with the back of the spoon to extract the juice into a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add all the remaining ingredients and fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  5. Discard the ice from the martini glass. Double-strain (using both the Hawthorne and fine-mesh strainer) the shaker contents into the chilled martini glass.
